Greetings, 
Here's hoping that your Holiday Season has been enjoyable and safe.  The local weather has been a challenge. This is notification that it is club membership renewal time (due Jan. 1, 2009). The dues are $20 Individual, $30 Family & the grounds use fee is an additional $30 per person. Dues should be sent to PSRC at 11600 Wicks Lake Rd SW, Port Orchard, Wa  98367.

 

The Annual Meeting is scheduled for January 31, 2009.  It will be held at The Airport Diner starting at 6:30 pm.  Dinner will be at 7 pm. The meeting will be held after dinner. Please RSVP me if planning to attend.

 

Club positions up for election this year are President, Vice President and Director #3.  Tim Lockard is the Nominating Committee Chairman and can be reached at tlockard.wa@netzero.net or 360 598 3818. Anyone interested in serving in one of these club offices please notify Tim.

 

We had successful events in '08. Bottom line is the NAHRA Test produced $1600 for our treasury and the Field Trial added $1900.  Thank you to all that participated in these events. We purchased $1350 in equipment and spent $1450 on Grounds maintenance.

NAHRA Test - 6/27-28  (Tim Lockard is Test Chairman)

 

Field Trial - July 24-26   (Harry Williams is Trial Chairman)

 

This year's Field Trial will be flying in 3 Judges SO I'm looking for anyone who can donate any Flyer Miles to help reduce expenses.

 

We are assessing a Club Program of a Monthly Training Session for Club members. The thought was it would be a way to offer an opportunnity for some members while also encouraging new members.  It could consist of a rotation of members that set up the monthly session.  This could be a way that some of the more experienced members could help newer members with training methods.  I'm asking for input, comments, suggestions about this idea.  If anyone would be willing to help set up a training day please let me know.
